TheD.A.V. College Managing Committee prescribes books for classes L.K.G. to VIII, keeping in viewthe needs of time. Books for L.K.G. to VIII classes are published by the D.A.V. Management itself. These books are the same all over India. Examination pattern followed in Nursery Deptt. is two terminal tests and one Annual Promotion Examination in Primary and Secondary Dept. N.C.E.R.T. books combined with other best publication of N.C.E.R.T. standards plus those published by C.B.S.E. have been prescribed. Semester system of examination has been adopted in case of classes I to X and Annual system in case of XI & XII. On the other hand , D.A.V. Education Board, functioning under the strict control of the D.A.V. College Managing Committee, conducts the examination of class VIII&IX on semester basis&XI on annual basis.
